We’re thrilled to share that The Last Inventor: Chuck Hull & The Hope of 3D Printing has received the Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking – Art, Architecture + Design award at the 27th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival.
The documentary tells the story of Chuck Hull, the father of 3D printing, whose curiosity and determination helped change how we imagine, design, and create. From its earliest beginnings to its applications in medicine, architecture, manufacturing, and beyond, 3D printing continues to open possibilities that once seemed out of reach.
At its heart, The Last Inventor is a story about people and ideas—and what can happen when someone sees a possibility and keeps working to make it real. This recognition is a wonderful tribute to Chuck’s legacy and to the team who brought his story to the screen.
Thank you to the Newport Beach Film Festival for this honor, and to everyone who joined us for the premiere and supported the film. Congratulations to the entire filmmaking team!
